Based at our framing workshop in Bristol, Esther is our Production Manager and one of our Picture Framers. Since joining the team in 2019, she has loved framing the wide variety of work that passes through the gallery doors, but has a particular fondness for the texture and vibrancy in Howard Hodgkin’s prints and the bold colours and stories woven in to Grayson Perry’s applique flags.

Our Story
Hidden Framers is a picture framing workshop based in Bedminster, Bristol that specialises in everything from conservation and museum-level framing to commercial and domestic work. Our expert team has over 40 years of experience and is responsible for framing all of the rare works in Hidden Gallery’s collection, as well as an incredible range of objects from medals and football shirts to Picasso’s oil palette. Our fully bespoke fine art framing service is available to individuals, businesses, artists, and galleries.
We pride ourselves on treating each individual artwork with the care and attention it deserves. Using archival materials wherever appropriate, we specialise in reversible processes that protect your piece for years to come. In addition, our broad range of mouldings and carefully mixed paints allows us to produce personalised frames that complement your work.

Joe is a Picture Framer based at Hidden’s workshop in Bristol. He joined Hidden in 2019 after the sale of his successful picture framing business and contributes over 35 years of knowledge and expertise to the team. Joe loves the work of Bridget Riley and is proud to have framed many of her prints over the years.
